Our client, a leading provider of Software Asset Management services, is seeking a Senior Consultant – Software Asset Management / ServiceNow to lead high-profile engagements and drive excellence in SAM implementation. You will be the key point of contact for clients, providing strategic guidance, operational excellence, and technical expertise on SAM processes and ServiceNow SAM Pro solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* ServiceNow SAM Pro Implementation & Operations – Lead complex implementations and operational services.
* Audit Defense – Manage and lead engagements across various software publishers.
* Software Asset Management Processes – Ensure effective integration of SAM with business functions.
* SAM Maturity & Improvement – Conduct assessments and implement enhancements.
* Project Leadership – Oversee workstreams, ensuring projects align with client requirements.
* Stakeholder Engagement – Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, delivering insights and solutions.
* Licensing & Risk Management – Develop and present licensing strategies, risk mitigation, and optimization plans.
* Methodology Development – Contribute to internal process improvements and best practices.
* Mentorship & Training – Guide junior team members and support professional development initiatives.
Experience & Skills Required
Essential:
* 5+ years of experience in Software Asset Management consulting.
* Proven experience in ServiceNow SAM Pro implementation and operations.
* Expertise in audit defense engagements for major software vendors.
* Strong multi-vendor knowledge, particularly with Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, and IBM.
* End-to-end Effective License Position (ELP) delivery experience.
* Strong presentation and communication skills with senior stakeholders.
* Ability to build strong relationships and influence decision-making.
Desirable:
* ServiceNow Certifications (CIS Software Asset Management, System Administrator).
* ITIL v3 certification.
* Experience in training and mentoring junior consultants.
