About the role
We are seeking highly skilled Work Package Owners (WPO) / Engineering Delivery Managers (EDM) to lead multi-disciplinary teams in the delivery of innovative products and services for state-of-the-art flight simulators. Based in Greater London with hybrid working opportunities available, you will be responsible for overseeing complex work packages, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, to specification, and in compliance with industry standards. Your leadership, technical governance and programme management will be pivotal in shaping our flight simulation solutions.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including software, hardware and systems engineers to deliver high-quality products and services.
2. Act as the primary owner of work packages ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality are aligned with project goals.
3. Implement technical governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards and best practices.
4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external customers to ensure alignment on project objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
5. Drive risk management processes, identifying and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Ensure the delivery of products and services meets the regulatory and quality standards critical to the aerospace industry.
7. Provide leadership in engineering project management, maintaining project oversight and ensuring technical integrity.
8. Report regularly to senior leadership and customers, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and key decisions.
9. Support the continuous improvement of delivery processes, enhancing efficiency and ensuring successful outcomes for future projects.
Key Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an Engineering Work Package Owner/Delivery Manager, Project Manager or Technical Lead in the aerospace, simulation or other mission critical manufacturing industries.
3. In-depth knowledge of aerospace standards and experience in ensuring compliance with these standards.
4. Strong track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
5. Excellent engineering project management and technical governance skills, with the ability to manage risks and drive teams to achieve challenging goals.
6. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience reporting to senior leadership and engaging with customers.
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a passion for delivering excellence in the aerospace sector.
8. Experience in flight simulation, avionics, or complex aerospace systems is highly desirable.
