Report to: Registered Area Manager
This role would be ideal for someone with experience in health and social care within a supervisory position, preferably within learning disabilities or Autism.
The purpose of the role is toensure that the assessed care, developmental and support needs are always fully implemented.Todevelop positive relationships with everyone involved and creating a homely, welcomingenvironment for the people my client supports. Proactively working to help peoplegain more independence by acquiring daily livingskills, achieving their forecasted outcomes and matching team members expertise to their needs.
Key responsibilities:
Run monthly Support sessions
Conduct monthly team meetings
Providing all staff with the required training
Completing staff rotas
Managing staff annual leave
Completing monthly audits (medical, financial)
Coaching and role modelling
Overseeing development of all staff
Ensuring environments meet my clients high standard
Ensuring the people they support lead active and meaningful lives
Maintain compliance standards to the expected standard
Develop and maintain great relationships with families and professionals
Work as a senior part of the York District team
Report Safeguarding and incidents
Requirements:
Must have a full UK driving license and own car
Must be able to travel to attend training when required, this may include overnight stays on occasion
Ideally have achieved Level 5 in Health & Social Care or be willing to complete
Level 3 minimum
The Services
Staff team of 16 in total.
Service 1: 4 gentlemen with a mix of need level, some complex needs and some independent.
Service 2: 2 single occupancy homes for women.
