Job summary The main purpose of the role is to provide a comprehensive administrative service to the medical secretaries/administrators and consultants in the Acute & Emergency Medicine Directorate. The role will be based in Lionel Green, but there may need to be flexibility in working through the Directorate as service needs require. An element of support may be required for the reception and ward clerk teams. Main duties of the job To provide an administrative and note taking service for teams meetings within the department as required. To be responsible for supporting the Frequent Flyer's team with administrative support ensuring all communication, documentation and information relating to the function of the teams will be collected and disseminated appropriately. Ability to deal calmly and effectively with daily pressure, rapidly changing priorities and difficult situations such as emotional, distressed or confused patients or relative on the rare occasion Maintain good working relationships with all areas in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of service to patients communicating with colleagues at all levels.
