Omnia is GBM and CMB’s strategic tool for Client Analytics. Its purpose is to provide common understanding of the value HSBC’s clients generate domestically and globally, so that we can better articulate the bank’s network to its investors, drive client engagement and identify commercial opportunities. It is both a detailed data asset and an interactive suite of reporting and insights, informing Frontline commercial decision-making from Portfolio to Customer and Transaction.
We are seeking an experienced person to work in the role of Omnia UI/UX Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and design across all Omnia capabilities.
In this role you will:
* Lead UI/UX design, including user journeys, end-to-end visual design, brand guidance, adherence to internal & external standards, and thought leadership on design across WDAC.
* Work with Product Owners and Omnia leadership to ensure that business requirements are appropriately met through design.
* Collaborate with IT to translate design and requirements into development and implementation.
* Focus on strategic design solutions, ensuring best possible user experience across the Omnia suite. In 2025, this will include redesign across the Omnia suite.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you should have:
* SME design experience with a demonstrable portfolio.
* A background in synthesising business requirements into user journeys, process flows, site maps, wireframes and high-fidelity visual design.
* A proven track record of complex project delivery in finance and technology programmes.
* An ability to build connections and work collaboratively across geographical and business boundaries.
* A highly motivated, entrepreneurial and autonomous outlook with an ability to balance risk, time and business needs.
* Knowledge and experience of working with Sketch, Qlik, HTML and Figma.
