Position Overview:
As a Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be the go-to person for monitoring, maintaining, and enhancing the infrastructure that supports our bespoke HALO Platform. Since we focus on voice solutions, making sure everything is always available, fast, and capable is crucial to what we do. You'll play a big part in ensuring our infrastructure meets these high standards.
Automation is key for us. So, you'll be scripting to connect with various platforms to handle the complete deployment of our services - including monitoring systems, backups, network settings, and application configurations.

Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for:
Building and improving physical and virtual infrastructure.
Ensuring capacity planning, reporting, and monitoring are in place.
Provide escalated infrastructure support.
Identifying and taking ownership of underlying problems and managing them to resolution.
Executing routine operations schedules for severs, sever applications, databases systems, and network elements using repeatable procedures.
Monitoring and reacting to infrastructure notifications and metrics.
Carrying out changes in line with company processes and client requests. Qualifications & Experience:
The right candidate for this role will have prior professional Infrastructure experience. These are the specific technical skills we are looking for:
The build, administration and optimisation of VMWare.
Design and deployment of infrastructure workload in a public cloud environment (Azure, AWS, or equivalent).
Configuration & support of Common Windows & Linux Server Operating Systems.
Experienced in deploying standard configuration and/or changes at scale using scripts or automation tools. Past experience within networking would be advantageous but is not essential to apply. There is no requirement to have prior voice / unified communications experience.
Please note that for this role you will need to be eligible to undergo the security clearance (SC) process.
The budgeted salary for this role is between £45,000 and £60,000, depending on experience.
