Serco Employment Skills and Training (EST) offers a comprehensive, place-based employability and skills service that can be tailored to government departments, local areas, employers, and citizens.
As Delivery Assurance Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the Delivery Assurance Manager and wider Delivery Assurance Team in maintaining effective controls to provide assurance.
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Support and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure onboarding and ongoing due diligence activity is completed to agreed timescales, and that actions are cascaded and managed to agreed deadlines.
- Coordinate the publishing and communication of updated documents via the relevant IT platform to key stakeholders.
- Support the Delivery Assurance Manager and wider Assurance Team with the coordination of scheduled and ad hoc assurance activities, including scheduling, communication, and administrative support.
- Support the Delivery Assurance Manager in ensuring all contracts and contract variations are tracked and logged on the Contracts Management Application (CMA)
- Liaise with Serco Group QHSE Colleagues to ensure H&S assurance activities are scheduled and undertaken to agreed frequencies, and that resulting actions are communicated and completed to agreed timescales.
- Ensure that all complaints are logged on the Serco incident management Platform Assure and maintain robust management information to track trends and inform continuous improvement.
- Undertake relevant audit activity to ensure that operational financial controls are robust.

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:
- Strong IT skills with particular emphasis on the full M365 Office Suite, mainly Excel.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently communicate with internal and external stakeholders via a range of media.
- Ability to meet fixed deadlines while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
Desirable:
- An understanding of employability and skills contracted provision.
- Formal H&S qualification or equivalent
- Recognised risk assurance or audit qualification
- Experience of CRM based systems.
- Experience of working in an Assurance and Audit environment
