Fast-paced Service Role
We are seeking a confident communicator who is comfortable in a fast-paced service-focused environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver and team player who can build a fun environment that makes guests feel at home.
Main Responsibilities
* Run nightly audits and balance daily accounts
* Prepare the hotel for the next day
* Provide excellent guest service and create positive experiences
* Manage hotel room inventory and process guest check-ins and check-outs
* Operate food and beverage outlets
* Manage bills and payments accurately
* Prepare food, clean, and maintain BOH areas
* Ensure compliance with food safety, licensing, and health and safety policies
* Support other crew members and follow direction from crew leaders
* Promote and support the Moxy brand and Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program
Key Qualities
* High energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude
* Excellent communication skills and a love for chatting with guests
* Ability to multitask and balance hard work with great service
* Clear communication and fluency in English
Desirable Experience
* Previous experience in the service industry
* Knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera and/or Micros
* Knowledge of food safety and licensing laws
* Personal experience of travel and the travel industry
