This senior role will give the successful candidate complete responsibility for the sales function of this well-established business. The company supplies an extensive and varied range of building products. The team, albeit small, will be growing rapidly and includes managing a manager & an external sales team of 4 Business Development Managers. Within your remit will be some operational responsibility for some distribution outlets and the staff within them. The route to market is through National & Regional Developers, Installers as well as some subcontractors/local builders. The company has a very healthy turnover and ambitious but realistic growth plans. The growth of the business and the timescale that is succeeded within will be the responsibility of the Sales Director by setting strategy, targets and achieving sales & operational objectives.

My client is looking for a strong, dynamic and ambitious Sales Director that is hungry and can drive growth. You need to be managing a sales team at National or Regional level and be able to successfully demonstrate growth and performance. You can come from any building product background, but it will be a huge advantage if you are familiar with selling through Developers or Contractors. Ideally, you will still be showing personal growth in your career and on the way up. You have to be based either in the West Midlands, South West or South Wales.
