SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £85 - £110 per day, dependent on experience

We are currently seeking passionate and supportive Teaching Assistants with prior experience in supporting learners with SEN to join our team in Sutton.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to support a range of young people aged 5 to 19, adapting the learning to ensure every student experiences a positive and inclusive educational environment.
- Provide 1:1, 2:1, or small group support to students with special educational needs.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and other professionals to meet students' diverse needs.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to the teaching team.
- Support students in both their educational and social development.
- Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in Special Education or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
- Flexibility to adapt to different learning environments and work collaboratively within a team.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
