As a Regional Clinical Advisor you will:
Use your clinical expertise and commercial acumen to drive sales growth, year on year, in line with our sales and marketing strategy, by educating and delivering clinical content on L&R products and services.
Seek out, identify, build and maintain influential relationships with key decision makers, including clinician to clinician and peer to peer interactions, in order to influence formulary and pathway inclusions for L&R products, within the acute and community settings.
Collaborate with internal colleagues to seek out, identify and manage new business opportunities and risks through effective commercial and market data analysis. In line with current commercial strategy, deliver value propositions and create formal working partnership agreements as required.
Key customers will include:
Senior decision makers (non-clinical and clinical) in the NHS, including, but not limited to: Heads of Services, Locality Leads, Procurement & Medicines Optimisation Leads, in addition to: Tissue Viability Nurses, Leg Ulcer Nurse Specialists, Specialist Nurses, NHS and Independent Clinical Strategy Groups e.g. National Wound Care Strategy Programme, Legs Matter.
Core requirements you will need:
1. A relevant clinical qualification and experience i.e. nursing, podiatry.
2. Passion about wound care and compression therapy and proven sales or influencing experience and knowledge, within a clinical or non-clinical arena, within the UK Healthcare market.
3. Tenacity, self-drive and goal orientated approach.
4. Agility & curiosity.
5. Effective objection handling, influencing and persuasive skills.
6. Excellent communication skills: active listener, confident presenter and ability to adapt approach and communicate effectively via an OMNI-channel approach.
7. Commercial and strategic thinking.
8. Analytical data analysis skills.
9. Good planning and organising skills; the ability to utilise your commercial knowledge and data to effectively and efficiently plan your workload and maximise your time.
10. To reside on territory, ideally in the West Midlands, preferably The Black Country area. The territory includes: The Black Country, Birmingham and Solihull, Hereford and Worcester, Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, Betsi Cadwaladr. Note there may be an expectation to cover Cheshire and Merseyside, Lancashire and South Cumbria, Isle of Man on occasion.
11. Flexibility to stay away from home, on occasion, due to the nature of the role.
12. A full valid driving licence.
