About the Role We are recruiting for a Healthcare Assistant to join us at Saint Catherines, are you ready for a new challenge? Our Healthcare Assistants are an important part of our organisation and play a crucial role in providing compassionate care and support to patients and their families during life’s most challenging moments. As a Healthcare Assistant you will work closely with our nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver personalised care and maintain the highest standards of comfort and dignity for our patients. From assisting with daily activities to offering a listening ear, you will go above and beyond to ensure that every individual receives the attention and support they deserve. Key Responsibilities: Provide compassionate and respectful personal care to patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times. Collaborate with nursing staff and the multi-disciplinary team to assess patient needs and develop individualised care plans. Monitor patients closely and report any changes in their condition promptly to senior staff members. Maintain accurate records of patient care and observations. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and empathetic environment. What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a healthcare setting. Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to support patients and their families during challenging times. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
