Key Responsibilities
* Attend customer sites for routine repairs and maintenance on Girbau commercial laundry equipment and third-party appliances.
* Respond efficiently to breakdown tasks assigned by planners.
* Work within contract authorisation limits and maintain contact with the Hitchin service team if required work exceeds this amount.
* Ensure customer site regulations are met during every site visit.
* You represent the company on-site and should always conduct yourself professionally.
* Maintain your van according to the manufacturer's maintenance schedule.
* Carry out electrical fault finding and follow current regulations.
* Hold electrical competency and be skilled in dead-testing and safe isolation.
* Keep gas qualifications up to date; training and registration will be provided by the company.
About You
* Educated to City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 in electrical competency.
* Familiarity with SSW and electrical isolation procedures.
* Qualified in Commercial Gas and Laundry with current ACS certification.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Laundry maintenance and gas servicing.
Role Details
* Hours: 42.5 per week, full-time.
* Location & Travel: Up to 2 hours from home, van provided for personal use; electric vans available in city centres.
* Rewards & Hours: Fixed bonus structure, additional overtime and extra pay for multiple jobs (further details available). Approximately 1 weekend rota per month.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
