Health and Safety Officer
We are looking for a Health and Safety Officer.

Position: VAC0102 Health and Safety Officer
Location: London (hybrid working considered after probation period)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £30, pa plus travel to work allowance up to £3,700 pa
Contract: Permanent

About the Role
This role requires supporting the International Secretary Business Administration and the Property Secretary in maintaining health and safety standards, to provide portering services as necessary in building, to manage the Post Room and courier services, to oversee the cleaning contract and ensure cleanliness of entire building, and to support FM team with all essential duties.
The primary responsibilities of a health and safety officer includes; risk assessments, Data Protection Training, best practice ergonomics, first aiders, floor wardens, online staff training with British Safety Council, recording of and investigating all accidents and incidents, and reporting each incident and or accident to bi-monthly IHQ Health and Safety Committee Meetings, taking active role in health and safety performance on IHQ sites, undertake necessary ongoing training. Act as outside control officer for all emergency procedures, arranging fire drills, liaising with security team on terrorist threat procedures.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
1. Credentials/certifications in Corporate Health and Safety
2. Solid experience leading a Health and Safety function within an organisation
3. Track record of being an excellent people manager, able to lead a team and perform against KPI’s
4. Excellent IT skills in including but not limited to Microsoft Packages such as Outlook, Excel and Teams.
