The role Supplier Operations Assurance Lead Location: Manchester Competitive Salary plus benefits Hybrid working The role: The ISM Supplier Operations Assurance Lead will report to Head of Supplier Governance and Controls and work within the Supplier Governance and Controls (SG&C) team to be responsible for supplier performance (including budget, risk management and reporting), drive supplier performance management and performance rectification for suppliers, reporting to the assigned Head of Supplier Delivery, be an escalation point for any performance and service-related risks and issues and be the ISM Risk Lead on the management and aggregation of ISM supplier risk registers, reporting within DCC on the operational risk profile from outsourced services. What will you be doing? Be responsible for ensuring that supplier performance meets performance obligations and service level agreements Be responsible for accuracy of forecasted ‘run’ budget with suppliers Maintain deep knowledge of the supplier’s business performance against contract and licence condition Identify and deliver performance improvement plans and rectification of performance issues Be accountable for aggregated risk reporting, working with colleagues to produce consolidated risk reporting and communicate these with key internal stakeholders Support ISM and wider Operations in agreeing acceptable operational risk tolerances Be responsible for interfacing with the Enterprise Risk team to support DCC risk management framework Create risk management reports and deliver to key stakeholders Perform audit and assurance activities to regularly review and ensure adherence to controls, processes, documentation and procedures. Support the ISM team in: Monitoring and consolidating information on supplier-led changes Generating comprehensive performance reports based on key metrics and stakeholder insights Communicating performance insights to the wider business Delivering the end-to-end process of invoicing, purchase orders, and Goods Receipt Note (GRN) across each contract What are we looking for? Experience in supplier management procedures Experience in effective stakeholder management and issue resolution to drive operational benefits Proven experience in building relationships and leveraging these to drive continuous improvement and ongoing value for money Experience of managing supplier budgets Experience of supplier risk management across a disaggregated supply chain Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment where priorities may change on a weekly basis Experience in working in a regulated environment Experience of working within Telco/Energy/Infrastructure/Technology sectors Experience in cost management processes (such as processing invoices) Experience in developing supplier performance reviews About the DCC: At the DCC, we believe in making Britain more connected, so we can all lead smarter, greener lives.
