As a Planned Roofer at Hyde, you will be working within our planned works team to deliver high-quality roofing repairs, maintenance, and installation services for domestic properties. This role will focus on scheduled projects, ensuring excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction while adhering to safety standards. This role will cover a wide area of properties from SE London into Kent. Responsibilities: Conduct planned inspections and assessments of roofs to identify maintenance or replacement needs. Carry out scheduled roofing repairs and installations, ensuring work meets industry standards. Replace or repair roofing materials, including tiles, slates, or flashing, as part of planned works. Apply weatherproofing and protective coatings to enhance roof durability. Maintain a safe and controlled working environment, adhering to all safety procedures. Manage roofing materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability for planned projects. Collaborate with the wider maintenance team to ensure smooth delivery of planned works. Skills and Experience Required: Proven experience as a roofer, with a focus on planned works or project-based maintenance. Strong knowledge of roofing materials, installation techniques, and repair methods. Proficiency in the safe use of roofing tools and equipment. Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Valid driving licence and a customer-focused approach.
