The Role
As Head of Digital, you will oversee digital performance, with a focus on maximizing the ROI of paid media campaigns and enhancing customer engagement through a sophisticated CRM strategy. You will report directly to the board, providing insights and recommendations that shape the overarching business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Team management and leadership:
* Manage an in house digital team of 5
* Build and mentor a high-performing in-house performance marketing team, fostering a data-driven culture focused on continuous growth.
* Develop individual and team capabilities to improve the collective knowledge of performance marketing strategies, tools, and trends.
Performance marketing:
* Oversee all digital acquisition channels, including paid search (PPC), PMAX, paid social, retargeting, and display, ensuring they drive high-quality traffic and conversions.
* Monitor and adjust performance marketing campaigns in real-time to ensure KPIs are met, including cost per acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), Margin bidding, and other channel-specific metrics.
* Drive the business's growth by optimising budgets and allocating spend effectively across channels.
* Innovate and experiment with new performance marketing strategies to leverage internal capabilities (such as product and tech) and maximise efficiency.
SEO/Organic Growth Ownership:
Lead SEO strategies to enhance organic visibility and capture a larger share of search traffic.
Working with the SEO Manager to drive collaboration with content and technical teams to ensure best practices in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO are implemented.
Track SEO performance and develop initiatives to improve rankings, traffic, and engagement.

* Drive our measurement agenda including reporting, analytics, insights, attribution to ensure we are using data to drive business performance.
CRM:
Lead CRM team to grow our repeat customer mix and average lifetime value
The Person
You are an exemplary digital leader with a strong background in paid channels, and CRM. You thrive in a data-driven environment and are adept at balancing strategic oversight with tactical execution. Your ability to inspire teams and deliver measurable results sets you apart.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Proven track record in a senior digital marketing role, ideally within ecommerce or retail.
* Expertise in managing large budgets across paid channels, including PPC, paid social, display, and affiliate marketing.
* Advanced knowledge of CRM platforms, customer segmentation, and email marketing strategies.
* Strong analytical skills with experience in using data to drive decision-making and performance optimization.
* Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including board members.
* Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
