4. Job Title: Locum Pharmacy Dispenser/Assistant required ASAP!
5. Location: Warwick, West Midlands
6. Duration: Ongoing!
7. Schedule: Monday to Friday (part time WILL also considered) 9.00am - 5.30pm (30 mins lunch)
8. Start Date: ASAP - June 2024
9. Rate of pay: £14 - £17 per hour depending on prior experience
10. Dispensing Qualification is a requirement to be cosidered!!
A Day in the Life of a Hospital Pharmacy Dispenser/Assistant:
As a specialist dispenser, you will play a crucial role assisting across the hospital outpatients dispensary team.
11. No prior hospital experience required - training will be given here!
12. Dispensing duties in the outpatients dispensary
13. Assisting with dispensing prescriptions and medications
14. Looking after the pharmacy stores area where stock is kept
15. There could be some stock ordering work required here too
16. Other general dispensary tasks likely
Requirements and qualifications required for this role:
17. Some form of prior pharmacy work experience
18. Some form of dispensing qualification is required
19. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
20. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
21. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Working hours and contract duration:
This position will require you to work from Monday to Friday, but hours can be flexible. The contract is ongoing (March 2024) with a potential to extend.
