At Old Mill, we're on the hunt for a sharp and dedicated Tax Senior/Assistant Manager to become a key part of our Corporate Tax team. If you have your ATT and CTA (or working towards CTA) in the bag along with a good level of both advisory and compliance experience and you're ready to make your mark and grow alongside us, this is your chance.
In this integral role, you'll take the reins in reviewing corporation tax returns and calculations. Moreover, you'll play a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding our junior team members.
But that's not all. This is not a compliance role with a bit of advisory work on the side. As part of our dynamic team, you'll also dive headfirst into corporate advisory projects, bolstering your fellow team members, all while ensuring our clients receive nothing less than top-tier service.
About Us
Nestled in the heart of the South West, Old Mill boasts four thriving offices and a team of 400 talented individuals. We're fiercely committed to nurturing talent, providing the perfect environment for you to hone your skills and become an expert in your field.
With a diverse client portfolio exceeding 5,000, spanning various exciting sectors, you'll find endless opportunities to challenge yourself and foster personal growth aligned with your passions. We're all about empowerment, experience, and mutual support. When you become part of Old Mill, you're joining something truly exceptional.
Requirements
We're on the lookout for someone with the ATT and ideally CTA qualification already in their pocket and substantial experience in the tax realm. As a crucial member of our Corporate Tax Advisory team, you'll be the driving force behind delivering top-notch compliance and contributing to our advisory endeavours.
Your prowess as a communicator will shine, building strong, trusting relationships with both our internal teams and our cherished clients. Having thrived in a practice environment, you're no stranger to juggling multiple clients and expertly managing your workload.
From flexible working arrangements to a treasure trove of perks, we're all about achieving that elusive work-life balance. Happy employees and satisfied teams are the recipe for productivity and success in our eyes.
At Old Mill, our employees are constantly evolving, not just maintaining the status quo. We'll support your professional development through funding for qualifications and dynamic skills training.
With 26 days of holiday plus bank holidays and a bonus day for birthday celebrations, you'll have ample time to recharge and celebrate.
And, since you're someone who loves a good deal, you'll relish the staff discounts on mobile phones, utilities, fashion, and more.
Additional Information
Thanks to our commitment to flexible working, in this role you will have the opportunity to work at least partially from your home office. However, 3 days a week at one of our friendly South West offices would be required in order to build strong relationships with colleagues in this and other Old Mill teams.
