We are looking to recruit a Contract Manager to work at a busy factory in Grimsby.
Day Shift, 5 days from 7. Some weekend working required
Duties And Responsibilities
1. To ensure all aspects of the hygiene service are carried out and maintained to the required standard.
2. Be responsible for overall service delivery across day and night shift, managing the nights Hygiene Manager to facilitate.
3. To manage the hygiene hours and ensure all expenditure is authorised and recorded.
4. To maintain daily, weekly and periodic sign offs to comply with client requirements.
5. To conduct compliance audits / inspections of internal hygiene standards and documentation.
6. To provide training and awareness for all hygiene and waste handling staff in all procedures relevant to their role.
7. Attend regular catch up meetings and Monthly KPI meetings.
Requirements
1. Experience of working in a Hygiene management role in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment.
2. People management experience.
3. Experience of BRC and customer audits.
4. Experience leading and working with a diverse workforce.
Other Responsibilities
1. To recruit, induct and develop competent employees.
2. Ensure all disciplinary incidents and staff absence are dealt with in a professional and timely manner in accordance with the company human resources policies.
3. To effectively communicate with all team members on a regular basis and provide opportunities for feedback and 2-way communication.
4. To participate in projects as requested in order to drive continuous improvement.
5. To provide key performance indicator data as required and comply with all internal and external audit requirements.
Key Strategic Responsibilities
1. Audit the key operational documentation which your team will utilise in order to maintain due diligence in the provision of the contract services provided by Mitie.
2. Carry out cleaning and related services inspections on site and deal with any non-conformances as a matter of urgency.
3. You will ensure your Team are also carrying out their inspections, such as Finished Standards Inspections, Methodology Checks or ad-hoc inspections of personnel hygiene and PPE conformance.
4. Maintain staff rotas in such a way as to ensure effective and efficient provision of services without overspend to the agreed budgets.
5. Take a lead in, and be actively involved in staff recruitment, selection, induction, training and development. Identify training gaps and be proactive so to develop a continual improvement ethos across the contract.
6. Manage the contract services provided by Mitie to the Client.
7. Meet with clients on a regular basis to discuss the services provided and to ensure a good working relationship is fostered.
8. Deal with customer complaints or concerns in an efficient and effective manner, wherever possible, within 24hrs.
9. Comply with all Mitie and Client rules, regulations and policies.

Client and Customer Relations
1. Maintain a professional approach with all Mitie and client Contacts.
2. Maintain regular KPI reviews against the agreed set of KPI's.
3. Handle client concerns in a professional, understanding manner and pass all concerns or comments to the relevant Mitie Operational Manager.
Team Contributions
1. Communicate effectively with all team members and respect their opinions and feelings.
2. Hold team briefings ensuring communication is two-way.
3. Participate in and attend other meetings as required.
4. Maintain and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), which effectively communicates and drives forward continual improvement of the Cleaning Service provided by Mitie for the Client.
