The Emergency Department Receptionist role contributes to the provision of health care to patients and relatives by providing a comprehensive and confidential clerical and receptionist support for emergency attendances and admissions. As part of a 24 hour service, the role supports patients in experiencing a smooth journey through adhering to the appropriate systems, policies, procedures, and processes in the department., As this is a 24 hour service, the post holder will be required to cover day, evening, night, and weekend shifts as part of the rota. The main duties include:
* Providing a full reception service to patients, visitors, and staff
* To ensure all patients are booked, transferred, admitted, and discharged correctly throughout their journey in the Emergency Department
* To input and extract data from WPAS
* To undertake full clerical duties
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
