Location: Tottenham Hale, London, N17
Salary: £28,200 per annum
Contract: Full Time Permanent
Hours: 38 hours per week

About the role:
As a Housing Assistant, you will be expected to contribute to the efficient and effective administration of the Supported Housing Department and work closely with the Tenancy and Income Management Officers and the Housing Management Team to ensure that a comprehensive, sensitive, and efficient housing management service is delivered to tenants.
You will also work as part of the Housing team to ensure a seamless service is provided across the income, housing management, and maintenance functions of the department, including liaising effectively with internal departments, landlords, and external agencies in relation to Housing Management matters.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent organisational, administrative, and IT skills, along with a commitment to excellent customer service.
Essential skills and experience include:
* Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external partners
* Excellent literacy, numeracy, and analytical abilities
* Clear and concise writing skills with strong attention to detail
* Effective workload management, meeting conflicting deadlines
* Proficiency in maintaining records, spreadsheets, and databases
* Ability to use initiative to improve team efficiency
* Professional communication skills, including handling calls and complex situations
* Experience with IT systems, Microsoft Office, and working with financial software such as IPOS or the ability to learn.
