Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the daily operations of the image management team, consisting of image coordinators and an external photographer.
* Manage and prioritise retouching and editing workloads to optimise efficiency, output, whist adhering to brand style guides.
* Be accountable for the effective utilisation of the photography studio, including scheduling, preparation for shoots, and maintenance of facilities.
* Collaborate closely with vendors to present the opportunity of shooting their products in our in-house photography studio, maximising the use of our facilities to ensure timely and efficient production, while preventing any delays in new line launch dates.
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders within Screwfix teams, specifically with Trading, Vendors and E-commerce.
* Lead the exploration and adoption of innovative media production techniques, systems, and advancements.
* Manage the adoption of new tools and technologies to enhance team efficiency and improve the quality of deliverables.
* Partner with Digital teams to ensure product page content aligns with the desired online presentation and meets business objectives.
* Collaborate on strategies to optimise the customer experience through high-quality digital assets.
* Allocate tasks, set priorities, and monitor performance to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
* Conduct regular 1 to 1s with team, completing quarterly check ins agreeing clear performance and development objectives which are reviewed regularly.
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience working in an image media production capacity.
* Proven experience in managing creative teams within a photography or digital asset environment.
* Experience in digital asset management systems and retouching/editing processes.
* Knowledge of photography studio operations and technology trends in digital content creation.
* Strong Adobe Photoshop skills as well as a good understanding of Microsoft applications including Excel.
* Experience managing YouTube channel desirable.
* Experience in working within a fast-paced and deadline driven environment is essential.
