You will have a myriad of reception and administration tasks to keep you busy
- and you will be expected to be able to juggle a few tasks at once.
An excellent phone manner and presentation is essential to the role.
Cityscape is a family, and our Reception team is at the heart of that.
The Reception is the first point of contact for every guest, and we treat every guest, whether they are a client or the postman, as a member of the family and welcome them accordingly.
We also sublet part of our studio to three small companies who are working within our industry, and our Reception team look after their clients, meetings and other small tasks as well.
If you think this sounds like it could be you, please read on Roles and Responsibilities Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to General Reception Answering phone calls, transferring/announcing calls Meeting and greeting clients in Reception
- making them welcome and offering refreshments Tending to clients in meeting rooms and break out spaces
- offering refreshments Maintaining a high standard of studio cleanliness, meeting rooms, kitchen and sometimes other desks Post and packages Ordering cabs and couriers Ad-hoc errands Fridge re-stocks and clear out Ordering stationery, weekly food, bottled water and any other ad hoc orders Staff expense processing Assisting other teams with ad-hoc requests such as proofreading, client invitations and external meeting room spaces Scanning confidential documents Studio and Facilities Covering facilities and maintenance in Studio Managers absence Liaising with workmen/delivery people Maintaining security and health and safety procedures Set up for meetings and internal events Assist Studio Manager with booking and organising social events; Christmas party, summer party, birthdays, tea breaks, leaving drinks etc, and booking client lunches/dinners Miscellaneous Assisting with social media content Assisting with weekly fire alarm tests Assisting with travel bookings for Senior Management Required Experience Experience as either a Receptionist or PA (1-2 years desirable) Professional attitude and welcoming personality Responsible and trustworthy Attention to detail on all tasks; from administrative duties to office tidiness Good spelling, literacy and numeracy skills Good time management and timekeeping Emergency First Aid certificate and Fire Marshal certificate considered a bonus Creative interests outside of work considered a bonus Essential Skills Proficient knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office suites Experience processing expenses and finance administration a bonus Company benefits Centrally located office in London Bridge, moments away from mainline and tube stations After-work social events Private health insurance after successful probation Free yoga sessions with More Yoga Cycle to work scheme, with secure cycle storage and showers Travel card loans after successful probation Hybrid work environment Pension scheme Access to Headspace wellbeing app Happy Hour on Fridays 20 days annual leave public holidays, increasing to 23 after 5 years service How to Apply If you are interested please send a PDF CV and introductory email to recruitmentcityscapedigital.co.uk with the email subject “Receptionist 2024” .
