Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician – Premium Brand
Location: Swindon
Full Time and Permanent – 40 hours a week – Monday to Friday with optional Saturday morning shifts available (paid as overtime)
Flexible shift patterns are available between the hours of 7 am-9 pm, so candidates could work 7 am-3 pm, 9 am-5 pm, 1 pm-9 pm or any other pattern between 7 am-9 pm.

They are actively looking to recruit a Motor Vehicle Technician for their premium dealership in Swindon. They are also happy to consider Diagnostic Technicians and Master Technicians for the same site (salaries would be higher), and Level 2 Technicians (salaries would be lower).
Main Responsibilities:
1. Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair
2. Utilize your technical knowledge
3. Test, diagnose, and resolve faults
4. Suggest and make improvements to processes
5. Work on electrical and mechanical systems
6. Inspect components for wear and tear
7. Repair and replace parts
8. Check vehicle subsystems
9. Liaise with customers where necessary
10. Support other Technicians in the Workshop

Requirements
The Ideal Candidate:
1. The knowledge to use modern diagnostic equipment
2. The capability of working to the highest quality standards
3. Great team player and communication skills
4. Maintain high standards of housekeeping
5. Prior experience in working to efficiency targets
6. A full UK driving license
7. Experience within a main automotive dealer is preferable, but not essential
8. VOSA-approved MOT tester is an advantage but not essential
9. Must hold Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair NVQ or equivalent
