We are supporting a charity to recruit a temporary payroll administrator to work within the HR team. Are you available at short notice, with payroll admin experience?
You will be responsible for:
1. Manage electronic timekeeping systems or manually collect and review timesheets.
2. Calculate payable hours, additional payments, and deductions.
3. Maintain employee records.
4. Coordinate with the HR team to ensure correct employee data.
5. Provide administrative assistance to the HR department as required.
6. Process and finalize the monthly payroll, liaising with the payroll provider as necessary.
7. Maintain an effective filing system in electronic format for HR records and associated documentation.
8. Assist in the processing of documentation for starters and leavers in a timely manner for payroll purposes.
9. Input and update new starter information, employment information, and staff changes onto the HR system ensuring high attention to detail.
