A highly reputable Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Leyland is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join their permanent staff team from January 2025.
This role requires an individual who is experienced in supporting students with a range of additional needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and emotional or behavioural challenges. The ideal candidate will possess a positive, nurturing approach and be skilled in creating tailored educational plans that cater to each student’s unique needs.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience in SEN teaching, ideally within a special school setting
* Strong knowledge of SEN frameworks and strategies
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Passionate about making a difference in students’ lives
