This role sits in our West Europe Insights Beverages team (focusing mainly on UK but also supporting markets like Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Netherlands & Denmark). The PepsiCo Insights team aspires to be growth catalysers, strategic business partners who focus on synthesising 360 Insight & foresight, being great storytellers, always human-centric and ultimately, we aim to be a source of competitive advantage for our business.
This is an exciting and newly created role which will require working with an end to end mindset across our Insights pillars within a given part of our portfolio. This person will take our overall Strategic Insights, our Brand Growth Strategies and combine with a deep understanding of Category & Business performance insights, to translate into strong commercial & perfect store growth plans. By partnering closely with our insights, marketing & commercial teams, and our bottling partner these insights and plans will step-change PepsiCo’s performance. This person must have the ability to think & act strategically, have excellent analytical capabilities, be a creative & engaging leader who can land Insights with Impact.
Responsibilities
What you'll get up to
1. Strategic Insights
2. Consult with Strategic Insights lead to understand the strategic growth priorities for the UK business
3. Marketing & Brand InsightsConsult with Consumer Insights Manager to understand brand growth strategies and focus objectives
4. Business Performance Insights
5. Lead the business Insight agenda within given part of portfolio (CSD's, Energising Drinks) focusing on value-added strategic reviews, step-backs and deep-dives. Provide clarity on drivers of performance and foresight on where to focus for future success.
6. Partner with cross functional teams on key strategic Initiatives Win with Food to provide Insight and expertise.
7. Perfect Store, Shopper & Channel Insights
8. Partner with Commercial team and bottler partners to set up step-changed Perfect Store execution Including picture of success and KPI's to measure and track success.
9. Maximise & optimise existing continuous shopper & channel data from Kantar/NIQ/Mintel. Ensure we have the best Insight available to unlock deeper shopper insights & growth opportunities.
10. Deep dives into key growth channels and leverage EU & Global best practise & play key role in channel specific projects or Initiatives.
11. Drive closer insights Integration & transparency with bottling partners.
12. Ensure relevant Insight is input into the Category Development, Commercial & Marketing teams at Britvic, Carlsberg, Royal Unibrew & support the shaping of external Category Vision & growth drivers, category growth stories.
13. Contribute to building JBPs with Britvic/Carlsberg/Royal Unibrew (big rocks and growth opportunities)
14. Work with commercial team to build insights that shape best in class selling decks, AOP (Annual Operating plan, growth forecasts
15. Work with commercial and NRM team to ensure underpinned by robust consumer, category and shopper Insight
Qualifications
What we're looking for
16. Significant FMCG Insights and/or Category experience. The Ideal candidate would have both.
17. Experience working directly with or for commercial teams or customers.
18. Experience In business Intelligence & analytics. Logical - can dissect a question/problem to create a clear brief.
19. Ability to see clear connections across data sources, take a 360 approach to understand full picture.
20. Ability to synthesize and persuasively communicate complex findings to focus on the most critical points.
21. Confidence to make clear recommendations to the business & Inspire others to adopt change.
22. Experience leading projects, complex agendas, partnering with senior leaders.
23. Compelling storyteller, impactful communicator, brilliant influencer.
24. Ambitious, driven but always a team player.
25. Always curious, open to new ways, sees possibilities.
