Job summary Are you a newly qualified or experienced SCPHN School Health Nurse looking to work as part of a new team delivering high quality care, to children aged from 0-19yrs, in line with the Healthy Child Programme? We have a 37.5 hour/week, term time only post which is the City South Locality and surrounding areas covering central Oxford based at East Oxford Health Centre. We are looking to recruit motivated practitioners with initiative and drive to join our friendly and enthusiastic team and contribute to the further development of our service and improving outcomes for our children, young people and families. To be considered for this role you must be a qualified Specialist Community Public Health professional or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience We are able to offer this part time, term time role, with a complete training package and a preceptorship programme. Main duties of the job The role will include working in primary and secondary schools, health centres and the client's home, providing public health related care to support in areas such as safeguarding, emotional health, sexual health and physical health, alongside supporting schools to deliver personal, health and social education, and managing medical conditions in schools.
