The Battea Claims Engine™ currently monitors 700-800 cases in litigation and 340 settlements in payout. The Battea research library contains more than 8,000 historical cases for back testing. Battea's more than 100 employees, based in Stamford, Conn., San Francisco & Copenhagen, will join SS&C GlobeOp. The acquisition of Battea in by SS&C Technologies Inc will augment SS&C's capabilities with a comprehensive suite of financial recovery services, including:
* Litigation research and case tracking
* Data collection, processing, and analysis
* Claims filing across all types of cases and financial instruments
* Results audit and remedial actions
* Award processing and distribution.
Job Summary:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling our class action services to potential clients including banks, hedge funds, asset managers and buy-side investors in the EMEA and APAC regions. This role requires a solid understanding of the class action process, exceptional sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships. It also requires the successful candidate to be able to explain and sell the benefits of an outsourced services model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients.
- Present and demonstrate the value of our class action services to prospective clients.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about industry trends.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies.
- Provide feedback to the management team on market trends and customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the legal industry or financial services.
- Solid understanding of class action laws and procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
