The Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Adult and Community Learning Leader to join the ESOL, community learning team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.
The Role
An Adult and Community Learning Leader plays a vital role in designing, delivering, and managing educational programs that support skills for lifelong learning. They will work to create inclusive and accessible opportunities for adults to develop new skills, gain qualifications, and enhance personal growth. By collaborating with communities, educators, and organizations, the leader will ensure that learning initiatives meet diverse needs, foster engagement, and contribute to individual and community development.
The leader will manage the Adult basic maths and English team, as well as the community learning team. This will involve regular interaction with key partners, meeting stakeholders to meet community needs, and working with employers to support progression and upskilling their workforce through functional maths and English.

All employees, including senior managers, will normally be appointed to the minimum point of the pay grade for the job. In certain cases, it may be appropriate to appoint to a higher point in the pay grade at the discretion of the Director of HR & Performance due to the candidate’s current salary, experience, or qualifications.
