About the Role: You will be working in the school’s Resource Base, supporting students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). The base offers tailored support, helping students access learning in a nurturing environment that promotes both academic and personal growth. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of SEN needs. Assist in implementing individual learning plans (ILPs) and adapting classroom activities accordingly. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all students feel supported and valued. Collaborate with teaching staff and the SENCO to deliver effective support strategies. Encourage independence and confidence in students’ learning journeys. What We’re Looking For: Experience working with SEN students, either in an educational setting or a transferable sector (e.g., care, youth work, or support work). Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to enhance the lives of students with additional needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
