Job Title: Process Engineer
Location: We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our team here at our factory in Pencoed, South Wales.
Your future team:
Reporting to the Head of Process and Project Engineering, this position plays a critical role in process improvements, problem solving, and people development with the aim of ensuring that productions processes meet efficiency, quality, and cost objectives.

What you bring:
* Qualified to Degree level in engineering or manufacturing discipline
* Experienced in the manufacturing industry
* Previous experience of lean, CI & operational excellence
* Strong analytical and data management skills
* The capability to work within a team
What you will be doing:
* Contributing to achieving factory performance targets in the areas of safety, environmental and sustainability
* Leading in-depth investigations of production and process issues with the aim of driving timely resolutions
* Implementing structured systems for trials of materials, products and process optimization, while following management of change procedure during trial periods
* Playing an active role in product cost optimisation by using VPC (Variable Production Costs) analysis and enhancing cost efficiency across the plant
* Participating in the PKF budgeting process, identifying areas for cost-saving improvements and addressing areas overlooked by other departments
* Organising information sharing with relevant departments on process changes, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed
* Ensuring process set points are consistently updated to reflect real-time process changes
* Engaging actively in developing staff skills through consistent updates to SOP’s and process documentation, minimising reliance on external consultants
* Contributing towards downday and shutdown planning for improving factory efficiency by identifying critical areas for cleaning and maintenance activities
* Supporting Project team with installation of new equipment with the aim of creating an efficient commissioning and development plan
* Improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) system to boost line performance
