Location: Grantham NG31, Lincolnshire
Hours: 37.5 contracted hours per week (Mon-Sun, including weekends, days, evenings and holidays)
Salary: £22,876.43 per annum (£11.70 p/h)

Advance is looking for Support Workers in Grantham to deliver support to adults with Mental Health or Learning Disabilities in their own homes.
You must have a full UK/International driving license and access to your own vehicle; mileage will be paid for at 0.45p per mile.
Day to Day Activities:
* Support with preparing and cooking meals
* Support with attending medical appointments
* Support with social activities
* Support with independent skills
* Support with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
* Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required
* Keeping up to date with your training

About the Candidate:
The person appointed would need to have a willingness to learn, be open and prepared to work with adults who may have complex needs and behaviours. Advance will provide all relevant training for you to be successful within your role.
If you think a Support Worker role sounds right for you, you will need to be:
* Able to demonstrate previous experience with mental health either professionally or personally
* Good at working on your own and within a team
* Excellent at communicating with people
* Able to complete daily records
* Able to work every other weekend on planned rota
* Able to work between 7am and 10:00pm on rotation shifts
* Ability to follow a Support Plan and Risk Assessments and maintain customer records
* Need to be literate in English
* Willingness and ability to achieve the Care Certificate
