UIS provides information services for the University of Cambridge, to enable the success of the collegiate University in fulfilling its academic mission. The Role and Key Responsibilities The Senior Change Management Specialist will work with sponsors, teams and individuals to drive faster adoption, higher utilisation and greater proficiency of the changes that impact staff to achieve positive results and outcomes. Your focus will be on the people side of change including changes to business procedures, processes, systems and technology, job roles, organisation structures and culture. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans (covering communications, training, sponsorship, the role of line managers) that maximise employee engagement and adoption. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders including the UIS management team, the wider UIS community, Change and Programme Management Office, Change Partners and HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to collectively champion improved working practices. About You The ideal candidate for the role will join us with experience of facilitating and promoting large-scale organisational change initiatives. You will be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of how people go through change, the process and appropriate tools and techniques to enable & sustain change. The ability to quickly build and maintain positive relationships and foster collaboration among team-members and stakeholders will also be key to your success in this role. Excellent communication & listening skills - both written and verbal, combined with the ability to prepare and conduct high impact workshops and presentations. A recognised change or transformation qualification/certification (e.g. APMG Practitioner, PROSCI level or equivalent) would be advantageous.
