This position will work closely with the product development team, suppliers, cross functional site teams, Group Procurement and Group Technical to ensure the seamless introduction of new materials that align with both market trends and procurement strategies. Key Responsibilities: The NPD Buyer will coordinate with Group Procurement to support effective management of supplier relationships, ensuring materials are safe, meet cost, quality and sustainability standards. Supplying the product information to the business unit for all new materials, ensuring accuracy of data with all new raw material input costs. Updating the necessary business systems with the product information and excellent project and sample management is key to this role. Supporting the business to drive future innovation whilst ensuring that the business continues to rationalise their product range wherever possible. Contributing ideas and information, challenging the status quo where appropriate. Awareness of ingredient cost drivers and their application when sourcing materials.
