Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of care, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with clients to assist them with daily activities, implement care plans, and promote a positive living environment. Your ability to communicate effectively and drive when necessary will be key in delivering high-quality home care services.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support clients in daily living activities, including meal preparation and medication management.
* Implement and follow care plans tailored to individual client needs.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes to the care team.
* Foster a supportive and encouraging environment for clients, promoting their independence.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
* Drive to clients' homes or care facilities as required for service delivery.
Experience
* Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable but not essential.
* Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication is advantageous.
* Strong command of English for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
* A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between client locations.
* A caring attitude, patience, and the ability to empathise with others are essential qualities for success in this role.
Minimum Requirements

Shifts are early 7.45am-1.45pm, late 1.45pm – 7.45pm, long day 7.45am-7.45pm, or nights 7.45pm -7.45am.
Although we require no experience, as we provide full paid training (both online and classroom based), we ask that you have a genuine passion for caring for others, communicate well with your team and residents and most important of all have a good sense of humour!
