Warehouse Supervisor required to work for our client in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Our client is a family-run business within the Medical Industry that is looking for a reliable and dynamic individual to join their warehouse on a permanent basis.
Salary: £28,000 Per Annum

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a streamlined operation within our facility, ensuring that all activities related to receiving, storage, and distribution are executed efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of warehouse staff, helping to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
* Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.
* Manage inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
* Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
* Coordinate with other departments to align warehouse operations with overall business objectives.
* Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and organisation.
* Raise new stock purchase orders.
* Support the sales order processing team.
About you:
* Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role in warehouse management.
* Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for warehouse operations.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Current licence to operate a counterbalance fork truck.
