Our client seeks an Assistant Manager - Accounts to join their team.
Role Profile:
You will be an enthusiastic qualified or part-qualified accountant assisting and supporting the fiduciaries department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight in respect of the preparation and review of financial statements, including property holding, lending, investment portfolios, insurance products, and private equity.
* Oversight of providing financial statements to clients within set deadlines.
* Dealing with client queries on financial statements.
* Preparation/review of monthly management accounts.
* Supervising day-to-day activities of the accounts department.
* Support the team with monthly bank reconciliations.
* Reviewing IOM/UK tax returns when required.
* Provide guidance and support to junior members of the team.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Qualified ACA/ACCA, qualified by experience, or part qualified will be considered.
* Proven accounting and/or audit experience.
* External and internal training will be provided and encouraged to complete ACCA or ACA qualification.
