The Human Resources department provides support and advice to managers and staff on HR and Development matters. We're seeking a visionary Development Consultant to join our HR department and work directly with our investment teams. You'll be immersed in the world of investments, where curiosity and imagination are as valuable as financial acumen. You'll work closely with our investment and ESG teams, helping to cultivate an environment where bold ideas flourish and unconventional thinking is celebrated. This role plays a vital part in devising and delivering talent and development priorities for the investment floor. Reporting to the Lead Development Consultant, you will contribute to the creation of our investor development priorities, overseeing the execution and facilitation of activities associated with these priorities. You will spend most of your time on the investment floor. You will also be part of a wider talent and development community, sharing knowledge and supporting firmwide initiatives.Responsibilities This role is perfect for someone who can blend creativity with strategic thinking to nurture and develop our investors and drive our investment success. In the role you will:
* Consult broadly with Investors and ESG colleagues to diagnose development needs
* Collaborate with investment and ESG leaders to envision and create innovative talent development and learning strategies that align with our long-term investment philosophy, supporting the relevant Investor Learning and Development Groups
* Coach individuals and teams in defining development needs and goals, supporting them to design and action milestones which genuinely enhance their skills, knowledge and personal contribution.Â
* Design and implement creative learning experiences that challenge our investment professionals to think differently and see beyond the obvious, fostering continuous growthÂ
* Facilitate dynamic sessions to enhance team effectiveness, using a blend of psychometric tools and your own inventive techniques, Curating Learning: Be a guardian of our learning philosophy, infusing it with fresh, creative approaches that resonate with our investment teams
* Exhibiting Progress: Diagnose development needs at the department and team level. Track and showcase the impact of initiatives, through compelling narratives and data
* Collaborating: Working closely with the aligned HR Business Partner, Development Coordinator, subject matter experts and other talent & development specialists to create a rich tapestry of learning opportunities
* Coaching: Eliciting, listening to and supporting individuals and teams to define impactful goals and take personal ownership for achieving them
Relevant professional qualifications such as CIPD Associate Diploma in Organisational Learning and Development, and/or coaching accreditation with a willingness to pursue additional qualifications or accreditations., A portfolio of experience in learning initiatives and talent development. This need not be within financial services, but you will have a dynamic interest in investments.
