Responsibilities:
* Develop a business case for the Supply Chain Project, successfully collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Work closely with the procurement teams to identify stock which could be bulk purchased to aid cost saving.
* Identify opportunities for improvement within the department, ensuring stock levels are agreed with budget holders and finding cost effective routes to donate, reuse or dispose of that stock.
* Identify and rectify any catalogue management issues where products are not removed or updated.
* Support the Director of Procurement in implementing Supplier and Contract Management to improve supply chain delivery and resilience.
The Person:
* Extensive experience within Supply Chain, across either Public or Private sector organisations.
* Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders.
* A track record of change management and leading strategies to modernise a Supply Chain function.
