Engaging and Supportive Core Subject Tutors Required in the BCP Area.
Here at TP Tutors (Part of Teaching Personnel), we believe in every child’s right to a quality education. We are looking for engaging and supportive Core Subject Tutors to match with students in the Kent and Medway area.
Many of the young people referred to us have SEN (Special Education Needs)/SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) requirements. We need patient and understanding educators ready to empower and inspire learners to achieve their goals.
The Role:
1. Delivering 1:1 tuition sessions covering core subjects both in person and via our virtual portal.
2. Planning suitable sessions to support students towards their goal.
3. Assessment and tracking of student progress.
4. Open communication with guardians and case workers to ensure our young people are getting the very best support.
Our Ideal Tutor:
1. Experience working with children or young people.
2. Ability to plan and deliver core and cross-curricular engaging sessions.
3. Proactive and driven to get pupils’ education back up to speed.
4. Awareness and implementation of behaviour strategies.
5. Organised and thorough, ensuring pupils are on track to achieve their desired learning outcomes.
