Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Engineer with a Gas Bias to join our team, working with a variety of Mitie clients in the Local Government and Education sectors. Your role will involve performing a range of Hard Services activities, including Planned, Reactive, Quoted, and Minor Works on Building Services Assets. You will provide comprehensive Proactive and Reactive Services to ensure our clients' buildings and estates remain open, safe, fit, and compliant.
Responsibilities
-Ensure our clients' buildings and estates remain open, safe, fit, and compliant by completing both Planned and Reactive maintenance tasks.
-Deliver a partnering-style maintenance service that meets all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
-Provide timely feedback to onsite contacts and colleagues, and liaise with contractors and external suppliers as needed.
-Record systems feedback through both manual (paper) and digital (mobile) platforms.
-Perform basic reporting, quoting, and condition appraisals.
-Maintain the highest standards of attention to detail and client-facing skills, embodying the principle that "Our customers' business is our business."
-Adhere to all relevant legislation, standards, and approved codes of practice.
-Prioritize safety on site for all building users, reporting any deficiencies in systems, services, or equipment that could cause injury or environmental damage.
-Follow all Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAW) guidelines, company policies, and procedures.
-Ensure your work and the work of those under your supervision is completed safely and diligently.
-Participate in training to enhance your skills and exceed service delivery expectations.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
-COCN1 or CODNCO1 (CCN1)
-TPCP1 & TPCP1A
-ICPN1
-Appliances: CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1
-Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams)
-Ability to maintain a safe working environment in accordance with HASAW 1974
-Minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience
-Strong understanding of statutory compliance in Building Services Engineering
-Full, clean driving license
