Job summary Dietitian - Surgical & Gastro Specialist Department: Nutrition & Dietetics Full-time: Band 6 £37,338 - £44,962 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working We are looking for an enthusiastic dietitian to join our acute team as a band 6 gastro-surgical dietitian. The post is suitable for an experienced band 5 or band 6 looking to widen their skills and experience. You will be working with inpatients and covering a gastro outpatient clinic. Previous experience of nutrition supportand enteral feeding is essential. Experience of parenteral nutrition is beneficial but not essential, provided appropriate transferable skills can be demonstrated. We provideCPD opportunities with previous post holders attending PENG, St Marks, and the low FODMAP course. Regular supervision with experienced dietitians working across several areas is also available. We have a dedicated Therapy Practice Education team to support staff development. You willjoin a department of over 30 registered dietitians, dietetic support workers and admin staff. We have excellent secretarial and dietetic assistantsupport and take students from Surrey and Coventry Universities. On site accommodation is usually available.
