The University of London, the birthplace of long-distance learning, is looking for a Utilities Manager to join their forward-thinking team.

The famous Art Deco Senate House! This well-known Grade II* listed building is based in the heart of Bloomsbury, London, where you will spend half of your working week with the other half working from the comfort of your own home.
Due to its imposing architecture, Senate House is also popular within the film and television industries; you may even recognize it from movies such as Batman and Fast and Furious 6.
You will be working in unity with the Estates team while reporting to the Director of Estates. You will strategically analyze and link data with the Engineering, Capital Projects, and Sustainability departments.
The University has a £6 million annual energy spend and an aspirational target to achieve zero carbon, meaning you will act as an in-house expert managing the University's energy and utilities-related matters across their large, diverse property portfolio.
Responsibilities:
1. Undertake day-to-day energy management activities across utilities contracts including water, electricity, gas, and district heating.
2. Utilize extensive technical knowledge of energy and carbon management and reduction.
3. Support the implementation of projects related to energy and utilities.
