Job Title: Executry Paralegal
Location: Edinburgh (Office-Based)
Working Pattern: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch)

Independently manage executry caseloads, providing expert client support.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Administer testate and intestate executries.
2. Proactively manage caseloads and provide excellent client service.
3. Communicate with executors and third parties.
4. Calculate and apply inheritance tax exemptions and reliefs.
5. Complete HMRC inheritance tax forms and prepare executry accounts.
6. Handle legal rights calculations.
7. Maintain accurate records on the document management system.
8. Adhere to firm policies.
Essential Skills and Experience:
1. Relevant legal qualification (Law Society of Scotland Accredited Paralegal preferred).
2. Minimum 5 years' executry experience.
3. Strong understanding of inheritance tax and legal rights.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
7. Strong attention to detail.
