The Team Leader will be instrumental in helping the organisation to achieve its Agile Transformational goals. Responsible for embedding an Agile culture, methodology, tools and techniques in order to help teams keep a delivery and learning cadence that helps to remain focused on delivering value against the organisational outcomes, while remaining creative and dynamic. Responsible for guiding teams through the implementation process, encouraging colleagues and leadership to embrace the Agile mind-set and associated methodologies. Responsible for ensuring that team members meet performance standards for quality, productivity, performance and attendance To ensure the team are kept engaged through effective communication and the delivery of team briefings To collate data for your team on agreed KPIs To ensure your team members comply with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Health & Safety, security and product safety To maintain an effective handover from the off going shift and the preparation and delivery of pre-shift briefings What you’ll need to have To be considered, you MUST either be currently in a Level 6 role, or have 12 months total experience in a Level 6 role Recent experience of leading a team, knowledge of the Supply Chain and working knowledge of warehouse processes Ideally you will have worked in a large team and worked towards developing yourself as well as staff, managing performance and achieving results The personal attributes required is someone who is a self-starter, calm under pressure and an effective communicator The role at times will be fast-paced and challenging therefore you must have an adaptable and flexible attitude and approach, be prepared to work alongside your team and be driven to achieve a high level of service Our benefits Boots Retirement Savings Plan Discretionary annual bonus Generous employee discounts Enhanced maternity/paternity/adoption leave pay and gift card for anyone expecting or adopting a child Flexible benefits scheme including option to buy additional holiday, discounted gym membership, life assurance, activity passes and much more.
