Senior Manager - ACA Qualified
* Annual Salary: £42,000 - £52,000
* Location: Verwood
* Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking a Senior Manager who is ACA qualified to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary based on experience and includes some flexible working options. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations within the team, ensuring the timely delivery of financial statements, tax returns, and other client services.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Oversee the workflow management within the team, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of financial statements, tax returns, and other required work to clients.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients.
* Manage and provide guidance to the staff team, including a recently qualified ACA and an ACA Graduate Apprentice.
* Assist the director with ad hoc advisory work, including monthly management for certain clients and due diligence tasks as needed.
* Participate in the firm’s recruitment processes.
* Collaborate with the Director to develop the practice, with potential for incentive awards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* ACA qualification with a strong professional attitude.
* At least 3 years of experience in general practice accountancy, including bookkeeping and payroll services.
* Comprehensive and up-to-date technical knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
* Proficient in Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage accounting software.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
