Responsibilities:
* Take on a range of tasks from basic to advanced.
* Assembly of control panels including wiring and testing requirements.
* Understanding drawings and schematics.
* Oversee and guide apprentices on selected jobs.
* Installation of control panels in an on-site environment, including testing and commissioning.
* Training clients on control panels as required.
* Designing and adding control systems to generators.
* Design small aspects of installation and wiring.
* Install and wire components in the generator.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
* WA Drivers Licence.
* Experience in control panel / switchboard manufacturing.
* Experience in industrial installation work.
* Demonstrated ability to plan and organise tasks.
* Ability to work professionally and unsupervised.
* Ability to problem solve.
* Experience training and mentoring apprentices.
* Experience in power generation and switchboard.
* High Voltage Switching Operations.
* Experienced in installation, maintenance, fault finding, testing, commissioning and shutdown work.
* Computer literate, i.e. proficient in Microsoft Office or previous experience with control system software.
