Responsibilities for Healthcare Assistant:
* Management of Patient Recall Processes and overseeing and managing patient recall processes, with full training and support provided.
* Ensuring that examination rooms and other clinical areas are adequately stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
* Performing cleaning and sterilization procedures on medical equipment to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
* Providing assistance during minor surgical procedures under the supervision of a doctor.
* Supporting patient care activities, including performing tasks such as ECG and phlebotomy under the supervision of a registered nurse, with full training and support provided.
* Assisting the nursing team with general medical administration tasks to support the efficient operation of the medical centre.
Qualifications for Healthcare Assistant:
* Candidate must have previous experience or certification as a Healthcare Assistant.
* Applicants must have New Zealand residency or a valid New Zealand work visa with no restrictions.
* A high level of proficiency in computer usage is desirable, with the ability to navigate software systems efficiently.
* Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effectively communicating with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
